Gingerbread doesn’t always have to be the Hansel and Gretel candy cottage most often envisioned by people. Why not go outside the nine dots and construct an inventive building that expresses your version of your own edible real estate. This recipe calls for the construction to be made from sugar cookie dough but it can be adapted to be constructed from gingerbread - although your adobe will be a darker color .
