The proposal comes on the back of Chandra's decision to make Zee Telefilms a full-fledged media company with its own channels, software making capability and marketing and advertising arms. In order to achieve this, the promoters are likely to merge Zee Africa, Zee USA, Zee UK and Zee Europe into the parent Zee Telefilms. In addition to this, Chandra also plans to transfer his 50 per cent holding in Asia Today Ltd to Zee Telefims.
