The task of selecting the "suitable color" for your home can be very daunting. Learn some time-saving and easy methods for finding that perfect color.

There are many sites on the Internet providing you with details of color theory and the color wheel. Also, most paint manufacturers provide information about modern paint trends and suggestions about which colors go well together, etc. Here are some lucid and well-presented sites on color:

  • The Color Wheel - Learn the basics of the color wheel to see what colors go well together. Provides the basics of types of colors - primary and secondary, neutral and complimentary, and related colors.

How to Select a Color?

Here is the BIG question! One of the easiest methods is personal choice. The problem is that the color you adore may not actually look nice in your room. So here are some practical methods for selecting the elusive "perfect" color:
