A New Season Begins

This fear makes itself real in 7.3, "Same Time, Same Place". As a result of Willow's fears of seeing Buffy, Xander and Dawn, she unwittingly casts a spell which makes them invisible to her, and she to them. When she returns to Sunnydale, they have no idea, and she thinks she has been abandoned by them. Throughout the episode they are in the same place, but unaware of each other. Sadly, a boy is killed - in much the same way as Willow's flaying of Warren. This leads the Buffy and Xander to think that it is Black Magic Willow - back from England but not quite back to her normal self. But it wasn’t Willow – who also discovered the body and ran in fear – possibly think that maybe she did do it? However, it was actually a demon that feeds on flesh, as Buffy and Xander discover later. Willow finds the demon in a cave and attempts to cast a spell to protect herself, but the demon informs her that he’s not affected by magick. But aside from that, it seemd to me that Willow hesitate for quite a while before finally even attempting a spell. At the end of the episode, as Willow lays injured at the hands of the demon in the cave, she desperately wants to see Buffy and Xander, to talk to them. That willingness allows her to become visible to Buffy and Xander, who are also in the cave. They quickly assure her that they are there and will take care of her, for which she expressed gratitude. In the final scene of the episode, Buffy and Willow sit together and discuss Willow's ability to slowly heal wounds using the Earth as her source of strength. It's a slow process - Willow admits she's weak after using all the power she had as Black Magic Willow. So Buffy lends Willow strength by joining her as she meditates herself to health. During that short scene, Buffy shows to Willow that she still cares for and loves Willow, and forgives her for the events of Season Six. However, Willow IS still responsible for killing two people - so I wonder how that will play out over the season. Will the issue be addressed, or swept under the carpet? Has Willow been forgiven so easily for her transgressions? Will Willow continue to mourn privately for Tara or will
