The flights on a 200-seater Airbus 310 aircraft on Thursdays and Mondays will open a new gateway for Assam and other North Eastern States - Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. This will make it easier for back-packers and the rest of us to reach unexplored tourist destinations in the North Eastern region.
