Ms Budget Travel did have a few twitches along the way that crotchety old lady that she is she's compelled to share with her Gentle Readers. First of all despite his bow to those of us who are well past his age Giles' packing list seems more useful to younger folk than Ms Budget Travel. It seems that before the age of 30 one finds beaches where ever one goes and beyond that age one tend to find fewer beaches and more museums --- again this could be Ms Budget Travel's own eccentricity but it seems to her that we slightly slower travelers tend to be a tad less outdoorsy and a bit more urban inclined. It also seems that Giles' packing list is a touch too long, but then Ms Budget Travel hates carrying anything other than a soothing drink.
Alternatively Ms Budget Travel encourages all her Gentle Readers to read through the excellent section on "On the Road" and bookmark it, she has seldom seen a more succinct and comprehensive guide to all the stuff you wish you'd known before you ended up anywhere --- likewise the "Before You Go" bit is extremely useful and Giles has done the research on places he hasn't gone to (yet) which is overall what really makes his little corner of the Internet shine --- Giles does quite a bit of information collecting and organizing.
Ms Budget Travel really does encourage you all to have a look round webmaster@travelindependent.info even if you are a virtual traveler you'll find some fun --- his travel photos are wonderful.
And to Giles, Ms Budget Travel says, "Well done." If we meet on the road she'll be delighted to buy you a soothing drink . . .
