Ms Budget Travel is in a bit of a quandary --- she doesn't know whether to feel good because her Priceline.Com experience was good or somewhat out-of-sorts because she had anticipated all manner of interesting anecdotes to write about. She clicked, she bought, she flew As previously stated, Ms Budget Travel succumbed to the lure of Shatner and bought a ticket at http://www.priceline.com --- she'd heard a bunch of horror stories about Priceline purchases involving changed flights etc. Nothing bad happened. Bought the ticket, flight wasn't cancelled, to Seattle and back without untoward incident. End of story. However, in her quest to make things easier for you, Ms Budget Travel does have some advice for priceline purchasers . . . Make certain you do a good search on all available fares to your destination Be sure you really are willing to fly at any time during the day . . . (any means any) Ask for a really low priced ticket. When priceline suggests that you have the change of the proverbial vacationing snowball in an extremely tropical locale persist in your request --- all they can say is no and then you just have another go at it. That's it on priceline kiddies --- however, Ms. Budget Travel has noticed a few things during her recent roamings --- Flights really really are overbooked these days --- good chance for a bump if you're a real budget seeker. Lots of folks book seating a day or so in advance, if you have to have an aisle book a seat early via phone. Lots of travelers increases the chances for lost luggage --- toothbrush in the carry-on is essential. Until next week ---
