Well budget travelers, Ms Budget Travel waited outside the Bowery in downtown Myrtle Beach this Saturday for one of you to buy her a drink. She was quite thirsty and would have even accepted a beer from anyone eager to win the fantastic prize from http://www.railpass.com Where were you? If you are headed for Myrtle Beach anytime soon let me caution you about all those articles in the print media telling you that beach tourism has been gutted by the rise in gas prices. Driving along Ocean Boulevard you'll see a selection of hotels all of which wear their no vacancy signs proudly. Ms Budget Travel waited until the last minute to book a room --- she didn't get her first, second, or third choice hotel. She did however book a room through http://www.lodging.com and, she suggests you do so as well if you're beach bound. Believing that the beach is deserted this year could easily leave you finding no room at the end. Ms Budget Travel spent most of Sunday in a traffic jam that stretched from the ocean through Conway - she could have used a drink. European visitors interested in information about the South Carolina Grand Strand in French, Spanish, or German should surf by http://www.USATourist.com where you'll find it. Which brings to mind more about the contest --- and, I thank all of you eager bounty hunters who've e-mailed me for a picture to aid in your quest. Future fortune hunters please use the erev591324@aol.com address --- I get to it fairly often. Even more about the contest --- my baby sister is still at the beach --- she's pointed out that using a picture you might decide that she's me. In an effort to be helpful I'll mention that she's a tall healthy looking gal. Ms Budget Travel is a smidgen under five feet four inches tall, weighs just into triple digits, and wears a basic American size four unless she's had too many Pina Coladas during the current week in which case her clothes are disgustingly tight. Until next week, Ms Budget Travel's hair is dark brown, shoulder length and she usually wears glasses. Her sister can change light bulbs and is actually aware of what is on top of the refrigerator, an area Ms Budget Travel only views with assistance from a step stool. And more, the nice folks at http://www.railpass.com have provided additional prizes. Stay tuned, next week you'll get a review of the prizes and some really useful clues.
