Railpass repeaters know the drill. Around the first of January prices go up --- if they're escalating during the year. Occasionally advance notice will go out via mail and the 'net letting us know that prices will rise in July or whenever.
Well, something has changed . . . Usually in the world of budget travel something has changed means that a price increase in something basic - airfare, hotel rates, or passport fees is in the offing. Not this time. Http://www.railpass.com has started offering specials. Be still my fluttering heart. Currently on offer is the European Treasures Coupon Book. Ms Budget Travel highly recommends this book if your itinerary takes you to the covered cities ---Paris, Aix en Provence, Nice, Monte Carlo, London, Ios, Madrid, Amsterdam and Munich are among the destinations included. If you are hitting two or more listed cities and you use Internet cafes, visit popular dance clubs, seek out interesting bars, or use a few standard tourist services you'll more than make up the cost of the book. It even has a coupon for a pound off on Internet services at the Web Shack in London. Definitely slanted toward the trendy you'll find a lot of drink specials in see-be seen spots. If you purchase over two hundred dollars in passes you can get the coupon book for free. Please refer to Ms Budget Travel's basic belief system: Free is Good. Britrail is offering a special. This is big news, alarming in fact. Will they digitalize Big Ben next? Britrail is the most expensive rail system in the Known Universe and the special is so exciting that it makes me want to kidnap a toddler from a supermarket cart. Ms Budget Travel Loves bargains. If you've already got a kid, the purchase of an adult or senior classic pass, flexipass, Britrail plus Ireland or Britrail with car pass and you'll get a free child pass of the same type. Sweden Rail pass is running a parallel deal. But, the generous Swedes will let you tot two toddlers to mid-teens free with one adult pass! Go To Page: 1 2
