Courier trips within a country are not easy to find---courier flights exist because businesses want you to walk things through customs---you save them time, they save you money. Within the continental USA Fed Ex, UPS, and the US Postal Service move swiftly and reliably enough so that domestic courier flights aren't needed often. In essence, if you can travel from a gateway airport and if you have a flexible schedule, you can fly internationally for a phenomenal discount. Bear in mind that courier flights do have specific return dates and that only carry-on luggage can go with you. Update If you haven't stopped by http://www.kasbah.com lately, go back and visit the site---it's been updated and is full of even more information.
