Welcome to Traveling on a Budget!Family Travel, the course, is designed to teach chaos reducing strategies as well as money saving ideas on transportation, accommodation, and food for every family trip. A third travel course, Archaeological Vacations, will be complete next month. This course discuses the hows, whys, and wheres of volunteering on an archaeological excavation. Though I am passionate about my career, nothing is more important to me than my family. My husband, Cliff, was my high school sweetheart. Next month, we celebrate our eighteenth wedding anniversary. We have three teenagers: two girls Megan (17 years old) and Tierney (16 years old) and one son Connlan (13 years old). As a family, we have run through the gauntlet of age related travel challenges. I have camped with a newborn, visited museums with a toddler, and trekked through London with a teenager. I look forward to my new challenge as assistant editor of this topic.
I also look forward to hearing from you. Though I have lots of travel ideas, I don't know everything there is to know about travel. Therefore, please feel free to send me your ideas, stories, discussion topics, poll questions, and links.
