CUTE BIRD FEEDERS

This week, I have an adorable project for those old cups and saucers that we all accumulate. If you are lucky, and do not have a cabinet full of mismatched stuff, you can a always pick them up at yard sales or thrift stores for pennies. Now, on to our project. You will also need a particular type of glue for this project, it is called "Goop", you can find it almost anywhere. It comes in UMPTEEN different types, like; Plumbers Goop, Automotive Goop, Etc. Any type will do fine. Pick out some particularly pretty sets, and glue the cups to the saucers with the Goop. After that has dried completely, glue them in random places throughout your yard and garden. You could group them, use them separately, mounted them on pipe or dowels and stick them into the ground, there are so many adorable ways to use them. Wait for them to dry, then fill them with bird seed. These little feeders are a very attractive addition to any garden area. Plus, you will be making a lot of birds awfully happy! Now, let me feed your imagination just a bit. You could embellish them with so many things, like little birds, flowers, etc. PLUS, do not overlook other containers, that may be attractive, as well. The only thing to remember is to use "Goop" and let it dry completely before putting in the seed, because the fumes may be toxic to the birds. So, enjoy the cooler weather, and decorate your garden, while you clean out your cabinets.

TIP: Here is a great way to clean those clogged shower heads. Simply remove the shower head, drop it in a pan with a white vinegar and water mixture and boil it. This will remove all the lime deposits, and it will work like new.
