WEARABLE CRAFTSHere I am this week, with a fun WEARABLE CRAFT. It is so hot and we all love sandals. With this project you can have them to match every outfit for pennies. Actually I am going to give you two different styles to make. Both style can be made from the cheapest old rubber flip flops available. You could also use as nice a shoe as you want, they all work the same. #1 - The first style requires silk flowers, hot glue and your sandals. Simply snip the head off the flowers and hot glue it to the strap of the sandals. You can use one flower in the center or cover the whole strap, let your imagination be your guide. Now for the next project, which is absolutely adorable. #2 - This project requires a cotton type fabric, cut into strips about 6 inches by 1 inch (cut with pinking shears) and your sandals. This is so simple, all you do is tie the strips around the straps into a knot, then slide them together to make it VERY full. What a great way to have an adorable wardrobe and I promise you can do it. Now that you have all new shoes, and barely opened your wallet, take you whole family out with the savings and be sure to wear those new shoes. TIP: Save all those plastic milk jugs. (gallon or 1/2)Take a large safety pin and poke about 4 or 5 holes on the bottom, then bury them up to the neck, in random places in you flower beds or gardens. Now, fill them with water, and they will slowly water your plants from the bottom. You can also use old plastic baby bottles for smaller areas. Just refill them each time you go out to water and watch how much better your plants look. Another little tip for those of you with aquariums, do not throw away the water from those water changes, use it to put on your plants. All plants love it and will grow beautifully!
