CLOTHES PIN TRICKS

This weeks idea, is one of those super quick and easy ones. Regardless of its simplicity, it is really cute and very usable. Start with plain old wooden clothes pins, then a few fun refigerator magnets, and some hot glue. Glue a refrigerator magnet to the clothes pin and screw it directly to the wall, clothes pin head down. You can use them for kitchen towels, recipe cards, notes, etc. You could also build the same project, BUT instead of putting it on the wall, glue a magnet strip to the back and put it on your refigerator to hold; kids papers, notes, recipes, etc.

Since this was such a short section, please indulge me while I offer you another little idea. It is equally as simple and quick. This technique is using wooden spoons and wooden spools. First drill a small hole to the center of the scoop part of the spoon, then hot glue a wooden spool to the back. Next you will need two small cups hooks, close one together, and screw into the end of the handle. Now, screw the other one into the wall and hang the spoon from it. Next, put a long screw through the hole and the spool into the wall. This is another really cute kitchen towel holder. Such cute ideas, and so little money. ENJOY!

TIP: When you are mixing in a bowl and stuff is splattering everywhere, DON'T STRESS! Slide a plastic shower cap over the bowl, cut a slit in it for the beaters and continue the job neatly!
