DRAWER PULL FLATWARE

Here I am again, with another great use for old flatware. This is too cute, in the right setting. Forget buying those expensive drawer and cabinet pulls. Simply take that old flatware and drill two holes, 3 inches apart, slightly larger than the bolts you are using. It is important to use the three inch centered measurement, later you may decide to change the hardware. The three inch center, is the standard measurement for drawer and cabinet hardware. Now, drill two holes in the door or drawer front, in the appropriate place. Next, using a bolt and nut secure the handle to the cabinetry. For a country type atmosphere this is adorable, but it also works well in other invironments as well. This is such a huge savings, you will be able to take your family out for several great meals. Enjoy your new hardware, BUT mostly enjoy your new creativity.

It is the time of year to start thinking about the yard and plants, so start looking at everything as a potential planter. Old buckets, watering cans, shoes, boots, jugs, bottles, pitchers, etc. Let that imagination go, and have a beautiful yard for pennies. It is also yard sale time of the year, so remember to re-focus your ideas, grab those bargains and RECYCLE!
