Those classic early editions of Monty Python’s Flying Circus were recorded and edited on Quad machines. Many of the most significant moments of the 20th Century – the Coronation of Elizabeth 2nd, the assassination of Kennedy, the moon landings - were seen through the eyes of these ancient, bulky cameras and VTRs. They were the source of the images that have become part of history. And some of that history has to rub off.
