the DVD case where they go to great pains to associate Dark Ages with other
far more successful brit-coms. Alastair McGowan is tipped as being known for
his work in Vicar of Dibley, funny how I didn't recall him from that wonderful
series. A quick peek at his filmography reveals that he did indeed appear in
Dibley, once. A single guest shot on a series hardly earns him the sort of credit
Dark Ages implies.
Other, perhaps, more deserving DVDs now available, or coming very soon, to
Region 1 (that's North America in case you were wondering) include Ground Force and Changing Rooms Unite! Fans of the do it yourself series Ground Force and Changing rooms will have their wildest dreams come true when BBC America airs When Changing Rooms Met Ground Force on September 4. What happens when two DIY shows swap places? Tune in and see the Ground Force team try their hand at interior design while Changing Rooms flamboyant designers take trowl in hand to transform some lucky sod's garden. As a big fan of both these shows I have to admit I'm pretty excited about this topsy turvy team-up. When Changing Rooms Met Ground Force airs on BBC America September 4 @ 8PM
