PART III: Anti-perspirant is "a" cause of Breast Cancer?

© Bobbi Jones

This in a continuation from a previous article..."PART I & PART II: Anti-perspirant is "a" cause of breast cancer?"

The following was taken from a Breast Cancer Support Club. This was written by a Neway Product representative.

A friend just got information from a health seminar that I would like to share. The leading cause of breast cancer is the use of anti-perspirant. What? Yes, ANTI-PERSPIRANT. Most of the products out there are an anti-perspirant/deodorant combination so go home and check your labels.

Here's why: The human body has a few areas that it uses to purge toxins; behind the knees, behind the ears, groin area, and armpits. The toxins are purged in the form of perspiration. Anti- perspirant, as the name clearly indicates, prevents you from perspiring, thereby inhibiting the body from purging toxins from below the armpits. These toxins do not just magically disappear. Instead, the body deposits them in the lymph nodes below the arms since it cannot sweat them out. This causes a high concentration of toxins and leads to cell mutations: a.k.a. CANCER. Nearly all breast cancer tumors occur in the upper outside quadrant of the breast area. This is precisely where the lymph nodes are located.

Additionally, men are less likely (but not completely exempt) to develop breast cancer prompted by anti-perspirant usage because most of the anti-perspirant product is caught in their hair and is not directly applied to the skin.

Women who apply anti-perspirant right after shaving increase the risk. Further because shaving causes almost imperceptible nicks in the skin which give the chemicals entrance into the body from the armpit area.

You can also check your products for propylene glycol and sodium lauryl sulfate... go to: www.newaysonline.com/user/prosperous for more info and a video to educate yourself!

This awareness may save lives. If you are skeptical about these findings, I urge you to do some research for yourself. You will arrive at the same conclusions, I assure you.

Sound familiar - somewhat similar to the chain e-mail. She mentions in this message that we need to check our products for propylene glycol and sodium lauryl sulfate. Here is another post from the same lady after being told by a breast cancer survivor and member of the club that she thought it was a hoax:

If you check out info from the cancer prevention coalition you will see!

Check your labels for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Propylene Glycol!

Now, before I go any further, I have a question. Is this particular lady trying to tell us that anti-perspirant stops your body from purging toxins and that's what is bad or that the ingredient in the anti-perspirant is what is bad for us? So, I went to Neway's web site and searched and searched for information to link one or the other to breast cancer. I could not find anything of the sort. Now Neway does have videos you can watch and audios you can listen to, but they were not working. I did take the following information from "Documents on Demand" from their site about Sodium Lauryl Sulfate:

I have heard of this theory. I can't say that I've done my homework on it, but I can say that everyone I have heard from on it, says it was a hoax as well. Now, I typically don't give this much info ...

Bobbi,
After reading your articles, which by the way were very informative, I DO believe that this was a HOAX!
It seems to me that neither Cancer Prevention Coalition or Neway could claim otherwise. ...
