Dr. Tempe Brennan, director of forensic anthropology for the province of Quebec, just can’t catch a break. Author Kathy Reichs, a forensic anthropologist herself, will have you biting your nails each time you turn the page in anticipation of the answers to these questions. An expert in the field, Reichs adds all those sordid little details that make for a best-selling crime story. Laced with forensic science, including bone, tooth and bite mark analysis, as well as X-ray micro-fluorescence, Reichs takes her readers into the long, dark and often tedious tunnel toward finding the identity of a madman and stopping him before he strikes again.
Each page of Deja Dead builds upon the suspense, which probably explains why Kathy Reichs has become such a popular author. Deja Dead is just the first in a long line of Dr. Temperance Brennan novels. Start with this one and you’ll more than likely be hooked.
