Spring is in the air! While you might not be spending as many cozy days cuddled up by the fire, there are undoubtedly many of those April showers on the way. Here are a bunch of titles to add some sunshine to those dreary days still in store. With Easter right around the corner, you’ll also find some great gift ideas.

Barnes and Noble

1. We’ll Meet Again by Mary Higgins Clark HB $5.98

Nothing warms an overcast day like a good mystery and Mary Higgins Clark is the queen of this genre. This time she’s back with the suspenseful circumstances surrounding the murder of Gray Lasch, a respected doctor and head of an HMO. Though his wife is convicted, she maintains her innocence. Who is the real murderer?

2. Deep Waters by Jayne Ann Krentz HB $3.98

Best-selling author of contemporary and historical fiction, Jayne Ann Krentz, offers this offbeat romantic suspense novel. Will a murder in the midst of this unlikely pair's budding romance stand in the way of their happiness?

3. Now You See Her by Linda Howard HB $4.98 Recurring nightmares of murders are haunting successful artist Paris Sweeny. Unable to shake them, she begins portraying these images in her work. But, when the faces on the canvas hit a little too close to home, Paris soon fears for her own life.

4. Illuminated Prayers by Marianne Williamson HB $4.98 Noted psychologist and relationship expert, Marianne Williamson, turns this small volume of spiritual prayers into a treasured keepsake. Beautifully illustrated, this would make a great Easter gift for someone you love.

5. Talking to Heaven: A Medium’s Message of Life After Death HB $4.98

If you enjoyed my article on Embraced by the Light, you’ll definitely want to check out this title. Wonderfully inspiring for those who have lost a loved one, or those who are facing the prospect of death. I just bought a copy of this for my own bookshelf.

6. Love Adds a Little Chocolate: 100 Stories to Brighten Your Day and Sweeten Your Life HB $3.99

In the tradition of Chicken Soup for the Soul, this collection of heartwarming stories is written by Joseph Girzone, a former priest and best-selling Christian author of the “Joshua” series. Another great Easter gift idea.

7. Sesame Street Unpaved PB $4.98

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the popular children’s television series, this book pays tribute in a big way. Includes actual scripts, song lyrics and trivia. A great gift idea for the adult who grew up loving Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and the whole crew.
