Embraced by the Light by Betty J. Eadie

As humans, there is one thing that’s inevitable in life. Whether or not we like to think about it, someday we’ll all have to face it...death. For many it’s a scary prospect. Contemplating the unknown strikes fear in many a heart because no one knows what happens when we die, or do they?

You’ve probably heard about near-death experiences, people who claim to have "come back from the dead". You know the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" tale, but I’d be willing to bet you’ve never experienced such a vivid and complete journey to the afterlife as you’ll find in Betty J. Eadie’s, Embraced by the Light.

In 1973, Betty entered the hospital for a partial hysterectomy. Considered rather routine, the operation was expected to go off without a hitch. Several hours later, however, something went terribly wrong. Betty began hemorrhaging and soon she was devoid of her pain, free from her cumbersome body, and traveling down a path where few had tred before (and lived to tell about it). What ensues is a descriptive account of glowing angels, the warmth of her savior’s loving arms, and the heavenly beauty she’ll soon be asked to leave behind in order to complete her life’s purpose. Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, you’ll bask in the powerful message of love which Embraced by the Light assures us is waiting for us all.

Betty J. Eadie’s version of the afterlife has a decidedly Christian slant, but people of all religions and even non-believers have returned from the other side to share their own accounts.
