  • Make sure you have a clear view out of windows and can see traffic lights without ducking your head.
  • Check that there is enough room between your head and the roof of the vehicle.
  • The seats must adjust backward/forward and up/down to accommodate your size.
  • Don't assume all big vehicles will be roomy and all small vehicles will be cramped. Many SUVs sacrifice front leg room for a third row of seats.
  • Small cars can be very roomy if you don't plan to use the backseat much.
  • Avoid sunroofs as the controls take an inch or two away from the headroom.
