After much thought and consideration, I have made a very difficult decision, I will be leaving this topic and pursuing other areas of interest within Suite101. If you look at my ever-growing signature, or visit my profile, you will see that I wear many hats here at Suite, and one of the hats that I have been wearing is that of the Infertility contributing editor and the Introduction to Infertility course instructor. This is where I will be found, and I hope to take on additional topics and will be writing additional courses related to infertility.

The decision to leave this topic was difficult, but something that I had been considering since my vacation in July. My thoughts continuously drift to infertility research, new medical therapies, and what I can do to help those couples that are trying so hard to achieve what many see as a simple dream. I have found it more and more difficult to find new topics to write about here, and feel that maybe someone reading this today can do a much better job continuing this than I could.

I am sure that this is a bit of an unexpected turn of events, but the only thing that ever seems to be expected in this world of ours is change and the unexpected. I have been told many times that the best thing any person can do is follow their heart and their dreams. I am taking that advice, and following both by writing a book about infertility. I am taking that advice, and sadly I am leaving this topic behind, and hopefully to better hands.

I cannot leave this topic totally, and will continue to teach the birth control course at Suite University. However, my days of writing about birth control methods have come to an end. It is a happy end for me, as I will be moving forward and realizing a dream that I have held for years. I hope to see all of you enrolled in the Birth Control: Your Options course, and I hope that the information I have provided over the last two plus years has helped you all.
