These verses deal with the orgin anger and lust.
Verse 56:
"duhkhesv anudvigna-manah
sukhesu vigata-sprhah
vita-raga-bhaya-krodhah
sthita-dhir munir ucyate"
(56) A man who is not disturbed even when engulfed in miseries, and who is not elated when there is happiness is free from attachment, fear and anger. He is called a sage of steady mind.
Explanation: A man of steady mind is undisturbed by joy or sorrow.
But one fixed in Krishna consciousness has neither attachment nor detachment because his life is dedicated in the service of the Lord. Consequently he is not at all angry even when his attempts are unsuccessful.
Verse 57:
"yah sarvatranabhisnehas
tat tat prapya subhasubham
nabhinandati na dvesti
tasya prajna pratisthita"
(57) One who does not rejoice when he obtains good, nor lament when he obtains evil is free of attachment. He is firmly fixed in perfect knowledge.
Explanation: A man who is unaffected by good or eveil and is fixed Krishna Consciousness is free of attachment.
He is unaffected by the fluctuations in the material life..
Verse 58:
"yada samharate cayam
kurmo 'nganiva sarvasah
indriyanindriyarthebhyas
tasya prajna pratisthita"
(58)One who is able to withdraw his senses from sense objects, as the tortoise draws its limbs within the shell, is said to be in fixed consciousness.
Explanation:
One who is able to detach himself from the ups adn downs of worldly life is said to be of perfect knowledge. Here detachment from objects that kindle the senses has been compared to a tortoise that draws its body into the shell, when it senses danger.
A man of perfect intellect is free of attachment.
