That Winning Feeling - Page 2

If your poetry muse is on permanent vacation, there are still lots of other ways to think and win on the web. For people who know a lot about herbs, or people who know people who know a lot about herbs, A Better Way has a monthly herb trivia contest. The contest has been running since 1996 and is open internationally, although the folks at A Better Way do say they are not responsible if the prize you win isn't allowed through customs.

General trivia buffs can test their skills and win prizes at Thinks.com. Billed as the brain games, puzzles and pastimes website, the site says they usually have major contests, as well as weekly Trivia Blitz contests, where a high score makes you eligible for a prize drawing.

Another monthly contest you can enter is found at the Institute for First Amendment Studies website. They don't tell you what the prize is, and I'm assuming that the contest is only open to U.S. residents, but it's such an unusual contest I think it merits some attention. So get out there and win your fair share. Make sure you read the rules, and are able (and willing) to meet the entry requirements. If you win, let me know. And, oh yes, just one more thing . . .
