Sunshine.
I have discovered a wonderful book called, A Bat in my Pocket, A Memorable Friendship.
The book was written by Amanda Lollar.
In this book Amanda tells of the day she discovered a tiny young bat on a hot side walk. She picked up the helpless baby bat and takes it inside so it could die in peace.
To her surprise the little bat survives. And in doing that the little bat leaches Amanda so many things about bats.
Amanda named the little bat Sunshine and you will enjoy getting to know all about the antics that Sushine gets into as well as the things that Amanda, and thus the reader, learns about bats. It is a delightful book and I think everyone who reads it will learn to love bats just a little bit more.
