The Beauty of a BatThe beauty of a bat. I know that most people do not think of a bat in terms of beauty. But I do. If you have ever seen how tenderly a female bat cares for it's young; or if you have ever seen how tiny some of the fruit bats are, you still may not think of them as beautiful. I think that it took me a period of time to come to that conclusion. I found that the more I learned about bats, and they more I understood them, the more beautiful they became to me. I feel very protective to these creatures that are despised by mankind for the most part. I think it is due to having little true information about how beneficial they are. I also think that a great deal of misconceptions are still prevalent where these animals are concerned. I hope to dispel a lot of the myths about them and I hope to take you on a Journey with me through the centuries and discover where the myths started and what the facts actually are. I have my favorite types of bats, of course. And I also have some wonderful experiences that I will share over the course of time with you. So, if you are even a little curious or a little afraid of bats, I invite you to read and find out more. Come with me as we discover the truth about bats!
