I sat down in front of my computer to do some research on a lake in Texas I have yet to visit, and I thought to myself why not put together a list of my favorites fishing sites for my loyal readers. Here is the top ten list of bass sites that I most often visit. I have linked them from here with a brief description and rundown on what you can expect to find at that site. Please feel free to visit any and all these sites listed and if you have a favorite not on the list please let me know. I am always looking for good bass sites.

You would think that the very first site on the list would be something for Bassmasters Magazine, but it barely makes my top five. My first link is http://www.bassinmagazine.com. It is the best place for all around great information, from beginner to pro. It has columns written by some of the greatest bass fishermen that ever lived, like Jimmy Houston, Denny Brauer, and my favorite of all times, Bill Dance.

The next site is just for you from one of the all time greatest bass fisherman of all time – yes, that is right -- it is Billy Boy himself , “Bill Dance”: http://www.billdanceoutdoors.com/. This site has to be seen to be believed. There has been a lot of hard work and a load of great information here. You can read all about his amazing history, his accomplishments as a Pro Basser, father and man.

The next site is one that the site builders should be very, very proud. This site is not only for the young, but the young at heart. It is really well done and shows the young people of this great country in a bright light. Check this one out. It is a must see! “http://bassfishingforkids.com/”

Number five is the most popular fishing magazine of all time and one with a wealth of information. Information for the person that is keeping track of who is winning what B.A.S.S. tournament and where the next B.A.S.S. tournament is going to be held. It is http://www.bassmaster.com, like you didn’t know – right? A great way for the beginning fisherman to start out -- it will get your foot in the door with the basic information that you will need.
