If you have followed the steps outlined in the proceeding three articles, you should be well on your way to performing a meaningful interview. You should consider researching interviewing techniques in detail. There are many resources on the Internet and at your library. Nobody should enter into the interview without having first consulted with your human resources staff. Take advantage of them, ask them questions, and get their advice. I have not met a human resources professional who does not enjoy helping in this area.
