Hodges is Hall-worthy - Page 2© Joseph J. Checkler I guess Perez becomes the obvious villain in this argument. But that is what makes the debate so intriguing. In such a subjective, controversial system, conflict is bound to arise. It can’t be like golf, where once a player wins a certain amount of tournaments, he automatically opens the Hall of Fame doors. That would take the fun out of it. The fact remains, however, that Gil Hodges belongs in the Hall of Fame. Maybe not by the standards set in the past, but certainly by the ones that have been created today. Go To Page: 1 2
