Baseball's Last Few Races

If you click "more links" on this page, you'll find yourself at what I think is the best selection of quality baseball links on the Internet. I've personally looked at tens of thousands of baseball sites in order to select those 100+ sites that present material that is clearly superior. While good design is important, I have to admit that interesting content is the primary attribute I'm looking for in making my selections. There are some very nice sites whose content comes down to "Go Dodgers" or "Ken Griffey Rules!," and you won't finding me picking those type of sites no matter how well done they are because, as a rule, they feature nothing to interest most people. Unlike most baseball link sites, Suite 101: Baseball doesn't even bother to list the official team sites, since most of them are mostly puff. On the other hand, even the most active web surfers should find sites on the list that provide information no one knew could be found on the web, so I'm using this space to encourage Suite 101 readers to take a fresh look. I just recently added another 15 sites and I regularly prune and edit the established links. If anybody has corrections, please e-mail them. If anybody has suggestions for additional sites, please send them along to me, but understand that I am very selective and that I have not added most of the sites which have been suggested to me. This week's Site of the Week, which includes an excellent quotes archive that will have its own permanent link, is a wonderful all-around baseball site called Mario's Baseball World Make sure you check out a special feature article here on Suite 101's baseball site covering my Baseball Journeys this summer. Plus - Take a look at our new weekly feature on Who's Hot and Who's Not. And my earlier article on SABR, the Society of American Baseball Research, was up here for such a short time that few had a chance to catch it, so check it out here. Readers - please join Suite 101 and then you can start participating in the discussions (feel free to ask me any baseball questions there!) and use other Suite 101 special features. Joining is now easy - just fill out the short form on the front page of Suite 101 if you're not already a member.
