Since When Does Eleven Equal Fourteen?
Now more than ten years have passed since the unfortunate turn of events. Baseball attendance is at all time peak. Events of 1994 are never mentioned. Older fans have forgotten or don't care much anymore. Younger fans hardly remember if they ever even knew. Why bring up unpleasant reminders that would only reflect negatively? Why mention that the Braves are going for their ELEVENTH consecutive division title?
Because Fourteen is more impressive than eleven, and when 1994 goes into the memory hole, eleven can be metamorphosized into fourteen. Only one thing suffers. The truth.
