Dieting? You've Come to the Right Place!

Low-Fat Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

6 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Cinnamon, to taste
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:

Grease an 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place apples in the pan. Pour the maple syrup over top and sprinkle with as much cinnamon as you'd like.

In a bowl, mix together the flour and oatmeal. Add the applesauce and brown sugar; mix until the flour is moistened and a bit dry in some parts.

With your fingers, crumble the dry mixture onto the apples. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Best served warm with frozen yogurt.

Now, I'm not trying to encourage you to break any weight-loss resolutions you may have made. But maybe these recipes will let you enjoy a bit of sweetness without the guilt.
