The last chapter in this wonderful anthology was about gardening with hot flashes. Since I am experiencing the flashes myself, I read with enthusiasm her suggestions on how to deal with gardening when you feel like your body is burning up. White, natural, loose-fitting cotton clothes, and a good straw hat is what she recommends. Although the idea of gardening in au natural was intriguing!

Creaky gardeners unite and read this anthology. Arm yourself with adaptive tools, wear a straw hat and plant some peonies. And thank Carol for providing us with a superb garden anthology.
