I hope Mr. Kane will offer us more birding books, along with more stories about birding. He has a lot of experience and knowledge to offer the online community. Even though I am mostly a backyard birder, I am still interested in raptors. Actually, raptors can be found in many backyard settings. In my little piece of the woods, I have heard or seen screech owls, red-tailed hawks, red-shouldered hawks, great horned owls, harris hawks and sharp-shinned hawks. I recommend his online book on raptors for beginner birders, backyard birders and experienced birders alike.

Fred's articles are always interesting, so I can imagine his book is good, too.
