Between Backpacking Trips


I will get off in a couple of minutes and walk like I do nearly every day towards my connection home, or maybe around to the Tattered Cover, with my day pack full of books, keeping my legs and back strong, ready for my next mountain adventure which is a week and a half away.

Then I will once again climb up a high rocky trail with Ben and Maggie in front of me, and whatever small worries and cares I might have will fall away with each step I take up the mountain.
