The Worst B5 Software Package

Even Babylon 5 is not without its bad days. The person who authorised the making of a Babylon 5 Shadow Wars Entertainment Utility will be in quite a lot of hot water for authorising this release. Now, before all the shooting starts, let's have a look at what this utility package is all about. This package contains nothing more than a collection of miscellaneous video and audio clips, a few screensavers and a Babylon 5 edition of space invaders. First of all, the clips are not organised into any particular order - there is not even a rudimentary menu system for searching the archive. Secondly, the video clips, although of good quality, are entirely of season 3, which says something about the quantity and quality of research work put into this software package. Lastly, there is the arcade game - it is one of the most insulting pieces of software to Babylon 5's good reputation for quality. Do not mistake this piece of junk for the excellent Babylon 5 reference CD from Sierra, so look the other way if you ever come across it. Better save your money for something worthwhile.
