Season 4 of Babylon 5 does not produce many prophecies or visions, but rather it resolves many of the subplots that are the basis of prophecies seen in the previous 3 seasons. This includes the conclusion of the Vorlon/Shadow conflict - as well as the real reasons behind it, we see the beginnings of a conflict between telepaths and normals, the liberation of Earth from the tyranny of President Clarke and the creation of a new interstellar alliance. As you can see although season 4 may be short of prophecies and visions it is not short on plotlines. So first, we left off last time with the apparent death of Sheridan on Z'Ha'Dum, but he was revived by an ancient being known as Lorien. Lorien told Sheridan the real reasons behind the war and how his race was the first ones to exist and that his race nurtured both the Shadows and Vorlons when they were younger races. Lorien brings Sheridan back to life and returns to Babylon 5 with Sheridan. This is seen in "The hour of the Wolf", "Whatever happened to Mr. Garibaldi" and "The Summoning". This would lead to Sheridan amassing an alliance of younger races to end the conflict once and for all. This is seen in "Into the Fire" where Sheridan finally confronts both the Vorlons and the Shadows about their true motives before they destroy everything. In the end Sheridan forces the truth out of them and they - Vorlons, Shadows and all of the remaining first ones depart for beyond the rim for the last time. But now that the Shadow war is over there is a new conflict over the final liberation of Earth from tyranny and oppression. In the end Sheridan leads an alliance of ships and defeated Clarke's forces and handed freedom back to the people. In the aftermath of all this, a new alliance of worlds including Earth was formed with the goal of maintaining a lasting peace, economic growth and a general co-operation between worlds. But there are many obstacles and challenges ahead of them as they head out into the light of a new age.
