Prophecies and Visions in Babylon 5 Part 4© David Ye
Season 4 of Babylon 5 does not produce many prophecies or visions, but rather
it resolves many of the subplots that are the basis of prophecies seen in the
previous 3 seasons. This includes the conclusion of the Vorlon/Shadow conflict -
as well as the real reasons behind it, we see the beginnings of a conflict between
telepaths and normals, the liberation of Earth from the tyranny of President Clarke and the
creation of a new interstellar alliance. As you can see although season 4 may be short of
prophecies and visions it is not short on plotlines.
But now that the Shadow war is over there is a new conflict over the final liberation of Earth from tyranny and oppression. In the end Sheridan leads an alliance of ships and defeated Clarke's forces and handed freedom back to the people. In the aftermath of all this, a new alliance of worlds including Earth was formed with the goal of maintaining a lasting peace, economic growth and a general co-operation between worlds. But there are many obstacles and challenges ahead of them as they head out into the light of a new age. Go To Page: 1
