AutoCAD and Y2Ksoftware you use, and if you have any questions, check the manufacturers' web site for Year 2000 information. Most companies will probably tell you there is no problem, such as Autodesk. However, anything that uses a time stamp, such as bookkeeping, file managers, personal information managers, etc may be susceptible to the problem. You can check it as I said earlier by adjusting the date, and seeing what happens. Most likely nothing will happen, but if it does, remember the words of Douglas Adams... "Don't Panic!" We are much more likely to feel the effects of this not from the bug, but rather from possible mass hysteria so long as corporate america and the rest of the world check themsleves and prepare. Do you have a topic that you would like to see covered in the AutoCAD Article or a question that's been bugging you? If so, feel free to drop me a note at either naturat@sonic.net or through ICQ at naturat and you may see it here!
