AUDI AND PORSCHE CELEBRATE ONE, TWO VICTORIES©
It was another almost flawless performance for the Audi Sport Team as they took first and second place overall to win the 49th running of the Superflo 12 Hours of Sebring, one of the world's premier endurance races
GTS winners in Corvette.
Privateer Alex Job Racing, of Tavares, Florida also had a lot to celebrate as his twin Porsche 911 GT3 RS's took a first and second in the GT class. The two cars are sponsored by McKenna Automotive Group, a major southern California automotive retailer. ALMS veterans Sascha Maassen and Lucas Luhr drove #23 to victory followed closely by Randy Pobst and Christian Menzel in #22. The team's quest to become the 2001 American Le Mans Series GT class champion is off to a great start. With Pobst, Maassen, Luhr and Menzel, as drivers, it would seem to position Alex Job Racing as the lead Porsche effort. On the podium Pobst held up his trophy and dedicated it to the memory of Bob Wolleck.
