American LeMans in the Pits, but not Retired

The American Lemans Series is on break right now, but so many changes are happening, no one is getting too much rest. Drivers are signing up with new teams, new engines and cars are being prepared for the March 4 opening in Texas, followed by the 12 hour endurance race at Sebring, the week of March 20.

Some of the happenings: The BMW Corporation announced that the factory teamwill be racing two BMW M3s in the GT Class of ALMS. Jorg Muller and JJ Lehto will be competing in the endurance races of the series along with newly signed Dirk Muller and Frednik Ekblom.
