Ingall beats teammate at Oran Park
Jason Richards successfully completed both races after his Melbourne-based team completely rebuilt his Holden after the wild roll-over that virtually destroyed it at Queensland Raceway. Richards nursed a cracked rib sustained in the accident through both the weekend's twin 140-kilometre races with the aid of a a rib protector that's commonly used in kart racing.
Next race meeting is the Sandown 500 that features the full endurance format with co-drivers and fuel stops that is also an important warm up for the Bathurst 1000 in October.
