Doesn't anybody want to win this Championship?Fellow SBR driver Russel "Ingall's Caltex Ford failed to fire under its own power in the pit lane at the start of the Sunday's final race. The team push started the car Ingall completed the assembly lap he had to pull into the pits as cars must start under their own power. "We had a couple of great recoveries after starting from the back of the grid in the opening race and then not being able to start the last race was shattering for everyone," said Ingall. Stephen Richard's weekend turned sour early on when his Castrol Perkins team mate Paul Dumbrell lost all his power steering fluid. Unfortunately Richards spun on the fluid and ending up off the track. Richards recovered but could only manage twenty second place. In the three race meeting format where your finishing position determines your grid position for the next race this hampered Richards' title challenge. Richards recovered to work his way to fourth spot in race three but missed an opportunity to make significant ground on the championship leader Ambrose who also had a poor weekend.
