By the way, by staggering the time of flowering, the competition for pollinators is reduced. Cockies' Tongues not only flowers in winter, but provides an important source for honeyeaters when nectar is scarce (see Perth Plants for Your Garden). We have had a drop more rain over the past week, which always makes one keen to get out and about and put a little effort into changing things around. The sun is shining again as I write this and there is a forecast for more rain before the day is ended. There is still a couple of weeks left of May, so we could possibly have the average rainfall for the month. But, I won't hold my breath.

Dear John,
Your drive is starting to take shape.The plant that I told you about in my previous message is "Plectranthus Ecklonni", I said it was a sage or salvia, its not but its related.
