As you can see, the Internet is an amazing tool for finding like-minded souls to chat with, seeking out information and support. There are even lists for children and teens to chat with each other, as listed above, and there are many homeschoolers wanting to contact others at: http://www.epals.com the classroom exchange. We have used this service and met some lovely folk around the world!

I urge you to seek the support you feel you or your children need. Home based learning without support can sometimes be an exhausting experience. It is so valuable to have a network to reach out to if you are having trouble, need something, or would like to spend time with similar people.
