The Four Silver Bullets (I)

Christians commit this fallacy when they transpose properties of material entities (parts) to the universe (whole). The example of causality I used before can be applied here as well. Causality is a relational property, because it involves more than one entity , usually one imparting a cause to another).

So we cannot say that, for instance, "every material entity has a cause" implies that "the universe has a cause". Apart from the scientific fact that quantum events do not have causes, thus disproving the first assertion, we can also say that causality cannot be transposed to the whole.

In the second part of this article, I will give the last two bullets, and briefly address other types of arguments.
