as we know on Earth may have followed a similar path elsewhere, or it may have taken a completely different course. In the next and last part of this series, we'll give some free rein to speculation in this respect.

Yet, I want to close this stage with some reflections that have much to do with the capability to accept a random process as the one that brought us here; so contrary to intuition, to mind and soul as witness to the Universe and Life.

Imagine you start leisurely casting dice. Sure after a somewhat long trail, you notice similar amounts of occurrences of each face, from 1 to 6. But you may have experienced in your own life, that once in a while you may cast, for example, 2 successive sixes, or even 3 times in a row. What about a row of 10 successive sixes?

We'll follow the trail of this thought experiment in the next part, and find the virtues of patience are poorly appreciated (at least in the Western world).
