Sun, Moon and Rising Sign

I use this point in the chart as an indication of not only what type of environment a person is born into, but also as a guide to how others first experience the individual.

Psychologically speaking, the Rising Sign indicates the type of persona (another term used by Jung) an individual has created for dealing with the world and others in general. In other words our Rising Sign is the 'mask' we wear when having to deal with new situations, people and the world in general.

Physically it can describe what a person looks like as well as the type of health issues an individual may face at some point in their lives.

This is an introduction to these three important points within a birth chart. I intend on looking at each of them in more detail in future articles, as well as their relationship to each other.
