The drink is known by various names, bubble iced tea, pearl milkshake, pearl tea-the drink is served with tapioca balls mostly black in color hence the reference to pearl. Since it is made through the use of a blender or through a cocktail shaker-it is a frothy drink thus bubble tea. The classic concoction of bubble tea makes use of tea...Chinese tea whether it be red, black or green flavored with condensed milk, sugar syrup and lots of ice.These are whizzed together, pouredinto a serving plastic cup with a dome and finished with a thick straw.
