most official postage and although I have tried to make smaller ones, I am usually not happy with the results. I have done a number of issues that directly mimic US postage and are issued purposefully around the same time. I mail them out with a special cover that has my stamp and the match US stamp right next to each other. One example of this is the world breast issue. My "requirements" I always like to have a value on my stamps, although this has not been always the case. I usually try to put my post name on the stamp and a border of some kind. I frequently do "souvenir sheets" where the emphasis is on the image surrounding the stamp. The stamp is simple one small element to the larger piece.

AB: WHAT OTHER KINDS OF ART DO YOU DO, IF ANY?

SHEBA: I do large mixed media collage. I have also dabbled in a huge variety of other mediums including photography, fabric dying and batiking, pottery and sculpture. I often use these other forms as the originals of my stamps.

AB: HOW HAS THAT AFFECTED (OR NOT AFFECTED) YOUR ARTISTAMP WORK?

SHEBA: My art crosses over, back and forth, it is all one and it is all good.

AB: HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH THE ARTISTAMP COMMUNITY, ONLINE OR OFFLINE?

SHEBA: Gosh, I can hardly remember. Other than having romantic mail art correspondences with Dominique and then jumping into his circle of mail art friends. I went to a few shows and met more people and it just built from there. I have taken time off from the mail art community a few times, so I always met new people when I get back into it. I am still in contact with many of the original people that I met back when I started. Being a part of the AML is the newest thing and I think Greg might have led me to that, but I don't really remember.

AB: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR ART GOING IN THE FUTURE? ARE THERE THINGS YOU HAVEN'T DONE/TRIED THAT YOU'D LIKE TO?

SHEBA: I will keep creating, growing and changing. It is what I do. I hope to teach more art, both to kids and adults. I look forward to having a child, which will be my greatest creation! I would maybe like to publish a book of my work someday. AB: WHAT IS
